This website is created and managed by Gontse Bashele. An artist, a maker, and a human behind the work you see here. Throughout this document, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Gontse Bashele and the creative studio that brings these pieces and experiences to life.

By exploring this website, making a purchase, or engaging with any part of our work, you agree to the Terms outlined below (“Terms of Service,” “Terms”). These terms are here to protect both you and us, and to keep our creative exchange transparent and fair.

If something here doesn’t sit right with you, please don’t use the site or make a purchase until you’ve reached out and we’ve clarified things together. Continuing to browse or buy means you understand and agree to these Terms.

We may update these Terms occasionally, art and business evolve, and so do we. Any changes will be posted here, and by continuing to use the site after updates, you’re accepting the new version.

This website uses cookies to keep things running smoothly, like remembering your preferences, or helping me understand what’s working. Some cookies are essential (without them, the site just breaks), while others help improve your experience.

2. Creative Ownership

Everything you see here, the art, photos, words, ideas, is original work by Gontse Bashele, unless otherwise credited. That means it’s protected by copyright and can’t be copied, reposted, or sold without permission.

You’re welcome to share our work (with proper credit and a link back), but please don’t reproduce or profit from it. Integrity matters, in art and in business.

3. The Human Space (Comments, Messages & Community)

This is a space for real humans. We welcome thoughtful dialogue, questions, reflections, kind words but anything hateful, spammy, or disrespectful will be removed.

If you share feedback, comments, or creative ideas here, you grant us permission to use them (like featuring your words on a testimonial page), but always with care and context.

4. Linking, Sharing, and Connection

If you love what you see here and want to share it, thank you. You can link to this site or specific artworks as long as it’s respectful and not misleading. Don’t claim sponsorship or endorsement unless we’ve actually collaborated.

If you run a publication, gallery, or blog and want to feature my work, email us, we love intentional collaborations.

The following organizations may link to our Website without prior written approval:

  • Search engines;

  • News organizations;

  • Online directory distributors may link to our Website in the same manner as they hyperlink to the Websites of other listed businesses; and

Wait 2-3 weeks for a response.

Approved organizations may hyperlink to our Website as follows:

No use of gontse bashele's logo or other artwork will be allowed for linking absent a trademark license agreement.

5. Liability, Accuracy & Growth

We do our best to keep everything accurate, from artwork descriptions to prices. But sometimes things change: collections evolve, prices shift, and availability updates.

If you spot a mistake, please reach out instead of assuming bad intent. We’ll always correct errors and communicate transparently.

This website is offered “as is.” We can’t guarantee it’ll always be bug-free or online (the internet has moods), but we’ll do our best to keep it safe and functional.

6. Purchases & Payments


Prices are listed in the site’s default currency and may change without notice, that’s just how art markets move sometimes.

You agree to provide accurate billing and contact details for any order placed. We reserve the right to cancel or refund an order if something feels off (fraud, error, or safety concern).

Original works, prints, and commissions are handled with care. Please refer to the Return Policy for details about exchanges or refunds.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is sacred. Any personal information shared through this site (like email or shipping details) is kept secure and used only for what you’ve agreed to purchases, communication, or updates.

8. Respecting Creative Integrity

Please don’t:

  • Claim or present them as your own.

You’re welcome to:

If something goes wrong with a third-party feature, We’ll do our best to help but can’t be held liable for their actions.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Gontse Bashele isn’t responsible for losses or damages from using this site, beyond what’s reasonable.

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, because that’s where this art was born and built.
